Sierra Nevada: the roof of the Iberian Peninsula and one of the most extraordinary territories of southern Europe. Here, wild nature displays a grandiose spectacle in places barely discovered by man today.
And in the south slope of this mountain range, the Alpujarra opens a door to tranquility and the formidable lanscape, the typical gastronomy, the past with Arab echoes, the legend and the unknown.
At its 1,300 meters altitude, Bubión offers us the most spectacular views of the Barranco de Poqueira.
To the north, the peaks of Sierra Nevada rise next to the silhouette of Capileira. In front, the opposite slope and the greenery of the vegetation are beautifully dotted by some cortijos. And to the south, if the weather's nice, we can see the African mountains, behind the Mediterranean.
